This requires at least 16 years of age. The adobe hospice and home health program of Colorado Springs (one among numerous locations) provides care and support to patients with terminal illnesses. As a volunteer, you will provide support to patients (most of whom are elderly) and the families of patients.
This task of providing support, which consists of entertaining patients with games and letters, creating a comfortable and enjoyable living environment, running errands, and more can be very enjoyable at the time. However, when the terminal illness eventually takes its victim, it can and will be very hard to lose a relationship you will have built with the patient.

From the airport information center, you will assist travelers by directing them to their respective gates, guiding them to baggage claim or bathrooms, or answering any other questions they may have!
